Friday Favourites

I have to apologise! I have not updated my blog in a week!
I was so busy!
I worked 6 days out of 7...

But I still am doing my Friday Favourites!

THIS! Always this! I heard people raving about it on other blogs, my co-worker Sam uses it to. I wasn't sure on the smell but when she used it the whole office smelt lovely! I only have the small size so I can carry it but I might go and buy the full size!

Since I wear extensions I need something to moisturise them. This has always worked and it has helped me keep my extensions for over a year! It smells yummy to!

Since it is winter and the temperature has suddenly dropped my lips have been getting to dry and using this has kept them from cracking and bleeding (as lovely as it sounds). It smells and tastes like watermelon and is very light but you can feel it nourishing!

I just bought a new necklace from dolly bow bow Here
She has vintage look jewellery and I love it! Hint if you want to get me a prezzie get it from here! ;)

I've been wearing this on my nails ever since I bought it 2 months ago.
It is Barry M Raspberry I think it looks perfect for winter!

I'm also reading A Little Princess for the first time. I loved the film, still do! I think every little girl should read it!

I've also recently gotten myself a horse. So anything Equestrian is a plus! boots, scarves, riding jackets, gloves, saddle bags!

Friday Favourites

I think I'll make this a regular thing!

Me talking about my favourites of the week, They could be anything from clothes, make up, music and odds and sods.

First on my list are teas! I've been drinking lots of Hot Apple Tea, the brand I'm drinking can be seen in a previous post.
An all time favourite of my family is Tetley tea! It is the only sort of everyday tea that doesn't give me heart burn... The one cups are brilliant, and cheap! £1 for 100 bags. They make the perfect cup of tea, not too strong nor too weak.

Eggnog Lattes. I had my first one this morning and I have to say I think I have found my winter favourite!

H&M Cardigans! I think I have one in every colour, I wear them with everything and I'm loving the Autumn/Winter colours!
They are soft and snuggly! I always make sure to buy a few sizes bigger to I can layer them!

THIS ^^ all the way! It is my trademark sent! IT smells so warm! My friend Cara loves it... I gave her a hug when I bumped into her at Starbucks and she just went mental! I know what to get her for Christmas... and myself...

I know this series is old but I've recently saw it for the first time. I love it! The acting in it is really good. A healthy dose of Jamie Bamber is always good.

This cat! I loved the shocked look on it's face! I've always wanted a cat but my dad is allergic..

Black and white photography! This picture is my own, I've done all my recent shoots in black and white and I don't know why. I think it looks moody :)

This is everything I've been loving this week, I'll compile a list from now on to make this weekly!

We will remember them

by John McCrae, May 1915
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

I always get really emotional today. I'm a pacifist (a detail I will not explain), but I will always ALWAYS remember and honour soldiers who have died in past and present conflict.
Lest we remember

Photo Spam!

Autumn is nearly over here!

Only 4 weeks left of it!
Autumn is my favourite season, probably because my birthday is in October

I was out and about when I was not working or doing music jobs.
Going for walks and photoshoots.
I dunno why but I am loving taking pictures of shoes and the grass with leaves on. It was so warm when I took this!
(do pardon my nails)

I was drinking lots of tea, even more than I usually do! My dad managed to track down a company which imports Hot apple tea! I tell you now, you must simply try and get a load of this in!
I also spent a lot of time with my best friend and godson. I took them to a park they've never been to before (she's from London and is still getting used to being up here after 5 years!) You might not be able to tell but she is quite heavily pregnant in this picture. Number 2 is on the way. She is wanting a family Christmas shoot. I am going to be jam packed!

Tradition

Today is going to be a bit of a rant! in reference to this article and to the news my Mum woke me up to... This is the article.

I woke to the news this morning that St James' name has been changed. How very dare Ashley!
I know he owns the club and has full right to do what he wants but he has to remember to be very very careful when it comes to a well loved football club.

Now, to be honest, I am not the biggest football fan in the world but I support everything local. Supporting Newcastle in my family has gone back to 1892 when Newcastle East and West joined therefore making it united, and the main stadium has always been called St James. And something else which has annoyed my family and myself is the fact it has been called Sports Direct Arena... C'mon Ashley, St James is not an Arena! it is used for one sport! Therefore it is a stadium! But the name... Sports Direct Arena, I mean... IT IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! Newcastle is not there for your company of cheap and chatty sports wear. It is in the hearts of 50,000+ Geordies world wide! Changing the name is only going to cause trouble for yourself and your company.

We all knew it was coming... I mean when Newcastle has a good streak of luck something bad goes and happens...

I am just waiting for the sky news to be at the stadium when fans start kicking off...

Rant not over, I'm still bloody fuming!
